Why early identification matters
Teachers are often the first to notice when a child is struggling. They see it in the classroom every day — a child who can't sit through a story, who refuses activities, who finds transitions overwhelming, or who struggles to share and take turns. With the right awareness, these observations become the first step toward real support.
Our awareness sessions and teacher training give educators the confidence to:

Hands-on training for educators on recognising the signs that a child may need help — from speech and language to behaviour, attention, and sensory differences — and practical classroom strategies.
Partnership & referral
Schools that identify children who need support can refer them to Cadabam's CDC for assessment and intervention — whether that's the full School Readiness Programme or individual therapy.

Who are these workshops for?
Awareness sessions are for parents and teachers; teacher-training programmes are for educators and school teams. Both support early identification.
Are the workshops charged?
We can discuss this on a case-by-case basis. When a workshop genuinely helps build a partnership with a school, we may offer it as a complimentary session to start the conversation.
Do teachers have to diagnose children?
No. Teachers never diagnose — that's a clinician's job. The goal of training is to help educators recognise the signs and know how to respond and refer, so the right professionals get involved early.
Can we get a session at our school?
Yes. Either a Cadabam's CDC professional can come to your school, or we can host the conversation — we'll work out what suits you.
